Charging pile networking steps

How come the newly purchased charging pile is offline, how to connect to the operating platform, and where to set the parameters? Let’s learn about the steps of charging pile networking:

1. For charging pile networking, we need to understand its network structure.

Under normal circumstances, the network first enters through an optical fiber from the network operator company, accesses the optical modem, and then connects to the router through a network cable, and the router is connected through a network cable.

Charging pile manufacturers set up the settings page for charging pile networking in the menu. Find the menu interface and click on it.

2. Set the password on the menu page.

The password is set to prevent non-administrators from entering the setting interface. Here you only need to enter the correct password and click Confirm to enter the menu.

3. Click Network Parameter Settings.

Charge ID: A number created on the platform.

Link mode: You can choose to enter the network IP connection (for example: 3.28.55.133), or enter the network domain name connection (www.cnevcharger.cn).

DHCP: DHCP allows for automatic node acquisition, eliminating the need for network administrator involvement.

Model: Because the protocol used by the charging pile is the OCPP protocol, some functions are not included in the OCPP protocol (such as how to collect money for charging). Therefore, many charging pile manufacturers have some commands developed by themselves. Under normal circumstances, when the Model is turned off, the charging pile follows the standard OCPP process. When the Model is turned on, the charging pile follows the manufacturer’s OCPP process.

Account: Some operating platform connections are encrypted, so the SSL/TLS encryption mechanism is used. The advantage of using it is to ensure the security of data during communication and prevent data from being maliciously stolen or tampered with.

TLS: Transport Layer Security. That is, you can choose between a WS non-decrypted connection and a WSS encrypted connection. This choice is based on the operator’s networking method.

Server: The domain name or IP of the server.

Server Port: The port of the server.
