Liquid-cooled ultra charger in China

1. In Hubei Province, China, a reporter combined data from various sources and found that the number of new energy electric vehicle charging piles has surpassed gas pumps for four consecutive years.

2. There are over 4,000 gas pumps, and the total number of gas pumps is 15,000. Since 2019, charging piles have begun to explode at an alarming rate. The Hubei Provincial Energy and Power Bureau counted the number of charging piles from 20 to 23. As of April 24, the number of charging piles in Hubei Province ranks first in central China.

3. In other words, the number of new energy-electric vehicles in Hubei Province has begun to exceed that of gas pumps in 2020.

4. China has pledged to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality. If a carbon peak is to be achieved, a large part of it depends on the peak of petrochemical energy consumption. In February 2024, the China National Petroleum Corporation Economic and Technological Research Institute reported that China’s refined oil consumption will peak in 2025 and then turn from growth to decline.
